11th Bear Cup is a 4,5 km dogsled race for mushers riding four wheel carts, three wheel trikes, two wheel scooters and bikes, and also canicross runners with dogs entering in varous age and gender categories. The event was originally planned to be held in March in Veresegyhaz where the cup is traditionally held, but it had to be delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and relocated to a new location as the local mayor did not allow organising it. Originally more than 500 participants entered the race from multiple countries, but because of the pandemic many who entered did not actually participate, especially the foreigners stayed home as Hungary closed down it's borders as part of the COVID-19 preventive measures..

First ever dog diving competition took place in the City Park in Budapest, Hungary on may 17-18th in 2014.

The first dog pool of a pet friendly hotel in Budapest is opened today at the Petnehazy Club Hotel located on the outskirt of the Hungarian capital city.
