30 imagesAfter some serious incidents in former years this year there were no atrocities between the two sides that police managed to completely separate. Participants of the Gay Pride March walked aproximately 4 kilometers from Heroes Square to the Parliament in the center of the city to show people their human rights to being different and to protest against changes in Hungary's laws and constitution to prohibit same sex marriages. The mass participating in the march included lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender people, antifasists and those who sympatise with their cause like politicians diplomats and the organizers of the Euro Games for LGBT people to be held in Budapest in 2012. Number of the LMBT participants is around 1500-2000, protecting police measures are about 150 and number of anti-protestors were around 500.
