Spaghetti bridge building is a type of academic competition to test participants' knowledge in physics. Competitors construct bridges as small as 1 m in diameter out of only pasta and glue. Bridges are tested with weight attached to the bottom. The winning spaghetti bridge built by Miklos Vincze and Csaba Jaro broke under the stress of 570.3 kg in 2013.
